Prayer - Fast Almsgiving

As we enter into the holy season of Lent, we are called to reflect and prepare for the great sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. This year, let us challenge ourselves to fast and abstain as a way of showing our love and gratitude for His ultimate sacrifice.

During this time, we are encouraged to limit our indulgences and give up something that holds a special place in our lives. Perhaps it is a favorite food or activity, or even our negative habits and actions. The purpose of fasting is to deepen our spiritual connection with God and to become more disciplined in our faith.

Let us also remember that Lent is a time for prayer, reflection, and almsgiving. Along with fasting, let us take this opportunity to strengthen our relationship with God through prayer and to show compassion and kindness to those in need through acts of charity.

May this Lenten season be a time of growth and renewal for our hearts and souls. Let us come together as a community to support and encourage one another on this journey of faith.
